Nature of the Service

Polk County Released Inmates is a private reference site. It keeps no official custody, release, booking, supervision, or court records and cannot confirm a person's status, release anyone, post bond, or file a request for a visitor.

The pages point toward Polk County and North Carolina public-record resources and may connect visitors with outside research tools. Only the agency that created a record can authenticate it.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly. In particular, users must not:

• Violate a law or another person's rights
• Use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on site content
• Attempt unauthorized access to the site or another system

No Consumer Reports

Polk County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not furnish background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and its advertising partners do not provide screening services through this site. Users agree not to apply the information to:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision
• Tenant selection, housing, or lease decisions
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
• Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

Third-Party Destinations

Links may lead to sheriff release records, correctional databases, government portals, legal resources, and outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. The destination owner controls its content, data practices, terms, and availability, which visitors should review before use.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that:

• Information will always be accurate, complete, or current
• The service will run without interruption
• The pages will be free from errors or security weaknesses
• A partner search will return every relevant public result

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from a sheriff, court, jail, or government agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Polk County Released Inmates and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from use of the site, inability to use it, reliance on its content, or use of a linked service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

A user agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's conduct, use of the service, or violation of these terms.

Suspension of Access

Access may be limited, suspended, or revoked at any time and without advance notice, including when use threatens the service, another visitor, or compliance with these terms.

North Carolina Law

North Carolina law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in North Carolina.

If One Term Fails

If a court finds one part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect. The affected part will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it valid.
